Offering this beautiful fold out valentine, circa 1920's; decorative cutout flap with the words I'll Capture You While Cupid mourns his trap so fine, and lovers rave, and maidens pine, I'll capture you, dear Sweetheart mine, and have you for my Valentine, folds out to show a three layer decoration - first layer is a colorful young victorian couple; second layer is a tall cupid standing in a gold shell filled with lilly of the valley, the third layer is a large grouping of white and yellow flowers. Measures 5 x 3 3/4 inches, very good condition, no holes, tears, or stains, light wear to front flap; no writing, never used and no markings as to maker. Light age toning on back side. The artwork on this one is just wonderful, all the delicate cutouts and the colors are so bright. A beautiful addition to your collection or a wonderful vintage valentine gift!
