Vacation Adventures Harold Hackmatack Cartoon 1927 this is a July 1927 cartoon by Gluyas Williams, It is titled, the forest fire, the chasm and the trusty 45. Cartoon shows Harold running from the forest fire. He comes to a deep chasm and he is pondering how to get across. There is a tree growing near the edge of the chasm on the opposite side. so he shoots the tree near the ground with his trusty 45. The tree falls towards him and gives him a bridge to cross the chasm. He walks across and away whistling. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the cartoon This magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/4 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall.
