2005 Minnesota Collector's Spoon Collector's spoons have long been a popular way to remember a vacation visit or other significant location. The spoon is 4 ½ inches long, the Minnesota Quarter Coin is mounted at the top and 'MINNESOTA' is spelled out in block lettering down the stem.
The Minnesota design features a tree-lined lake with two people fishing, a loon on the water, and a textured outline of the State surrounding its nickname, 'Land of 10,000 Lakes.' The Minnesota quarter, the second quarter to be released in 2005 and the 32nd in the 50 State Quarters® Program, bears the inscriptions 'Minnesota,' 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' and '1858.'
