This is part of an old Louisiana southern estate we bought years back. I have been selling pieces off of it for years and here is more. If you are restoring an old house we have PLENTY of architectural and metal parts that were once part of this fabulous old house. This is for the neatest thing I have seen in a long time. Due to lack of space in Victorian times things sometimes had to be mechanical and fold to a small size for storage. THIS is the coolest piece! It is a tray or dish or even plant holder that not only folds out to different widths but it has has moveable arms that move up and down the bar to fit up against the piece it is holding. You can use it for large things or small and it is still a valuable and pretty piece ! It measures 14" long from end to and on the bottom . The inside from end to end is 12", It rises up off the table 3". What is also useful is that whatever it holds can be round or square. Weren‘t the Victorians ingenious people?.
