Unusual Japanese Red Lacquered Bronze Vase C1930s
 Description: Unusual Japanese Red Lacquered Bronze Vase, C.1930s. The ovoid vase is painted with a matte red lacquered finish and decorated with two flowering plum branches with gilt highlights. The base is marked: "RIKEN SIKKI" and "MADE IN JAPAN" around what appears to be a mountain with "M' and "a" mark. Dimensions: 8.75in. high, 7in. diameter.Weight: 2.2lbs. (Box D) Condition: There is considerable surface scratching/wear to the red lacquered surface (primarily around the top of the vase and rim). Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.
