UNUSUAL Antique Asian Character Compass Fob

NOtice the Asian Characters on this antique compass and how the N, E, S & W are not on the corners. Quite unusual and it also has old hand cut paste stones which are all original. This hangs from a double watch chain which measures 13 1/2" on the longest chain. The color is a dark rose color ( not yellow like the photos) and it has a lot of old patina which has darkened it quite a but. I don't see any markings as to the metal content. THe long bar has lost some of it color also. And now for the tedious part that you probably already know: We offer Layaway on all our pieces regardless of which site it comes from.
