Unique Parlor Clock Made from Antique Parts

Unavailable
This parlor clock was designed and built in the fifties by a local Charlotte, Michigan clockmaker using antique parts, making this a very unusual timepiece. The clock has been cleaned and serviced to be in good working condition. Although the chime function does not work, the clock keeps great time when in a level position. In the process of designing and building this clock, the clockmaker used old, salvaged works and parts. The front cover appears to made of oak, the sides of the clock are a dark-stained wood. The case measures approximately 9.25 inches square and 4.25 inches deep. The brass pendulum, from Germany, extends 10.75 inches from the body of the clock. The glass-fronted door opens for winding and setting the clock. Please refer to the 3 photographs for general appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $17.50 within the lower 48 states.
