ABOUT THIS MANTEL CLOCK:THE ULTIMATE IN FUNCTION AND BEAUTY!! We are very proud to offer you this amazing mantel clock that dates from the last quarter of the 19th C. (c. 1880). This is the most wonderful clock you ever will find! The clock has been completely cleaned and restored by a professional clock restorer in Europe.The clock is made of the finest walnut and decorated with gorgeous bronze ornaments.Good running and striking condition with 8 days going movement and every half an full hours striking on an old spring gong.This clock is probably made by Ernst Pauritsch, a former employee at the Lenzkirch clock factory.The dial is beautiful with a brass plate and a silvered ring,roman numerals and fabulous steel hands.Even the knobs are decorated with bronze ornaments !!The bronze movement is signed with two crossed arrows,the logo of HAU,the Hamburg Amerikanischen Uhrenfabrik.This famous clock factory was founded in 1873 in Schramberg-Germany.The style of the clock is Renaissance and the dimensions are: Height: 25 Inches !!, Width: 14,5 Inches and Depth: 8 Inches.We were lucky to acquire it from a high end private estate in the South of Germany near Munich!No matter where you put this clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding clock and where they can get one like it!
