Here's an interesting medicinal tin from the Murray Medicine Company of Richmond, Indiana - Ulceroid. It says its for "blood-poison, wounds, running sores, old ulcers, abscessess, wounds, etc." The directions on the back says that after it is cleaned, "heat a knife blade and spread a thin plaster on heavey paper or muslim...to cover the parts." To remove "Ulceroid from skin use turpentine, vaseline or oil." Kind of strange! If you collect advertising medicine tins, add this one to your collection!
