This is a first edition of the 1948 issue of U S Camera and it is in excellent condition with all pages intact and no tears. The cover is plain red with no imprinting. The contents as listed as follows: atomic energy, united nations, domestic affairs, foreign affairs, armed services, accidents and disasters, crime, labor and strikes, personalities, science, general, sports and entertainment. The pictures are of a rally against the Taft-Hartley labor bill, the nervous heads of the Transport Workers Union during negoiations during the New York transportation slowdown and strike, John L. Lewis during the United Mine Workers strike and Gandhi during the strife for Indian independence. The book is divided into two sections, Great News Pictures and Finest Photographs. There are also dozens of pages of ads for the latest photographic equipment of the time.
