TWO TONE SMOKEY QUARTZ SNUFF BOTTLE.This very unusual spade shaped snuff bottle is of smokey quartz with two colours. The black may be an addition but originally was said to be an original inclusion. The front side shows a carving of Toba on a mule and his attendant. Exceptional workmanship on the black section with good detailing. The galaxies are visible on the back side of the bottle.The stopper is deep pink tourmaline with a mother of pearl stopper. ****Look at the black through a loop;I think it stands a good chance of being original.
