These two canisters are from Decoware's Currier & Ives collection. They measure 5 7/8" high and 5" in diameter. The top and bottom are copper colored. One of the tins is HOME TO THANKSGIVING featuring a farm in winter scene. On the back is a text: "HOME TO THANKSGIVING This,one of the most popular Currier & Ives prints,was first published in 1861. Fine examples of Currier & Ives' best work, such as this, are eagerly sought for and highly valued by collectors everywhere. ' Home To Thanksgiving' is reproduced from an original Currier & Ives print. " The other canister is The Home Of Washington Mount Vernon VA. The text on the back reads "THE HOME OF WASHINGTON MOUNT VERNON VA. The home of our first President in one of the most famous Currier & Ives scenes. It is not surprising that this print has become popular with collectors and home decorators everywhere. 'The Home Of Washington'is reproduced from an original Currier & Ives print." Normal wear and a little interior rust.
