A turtle covered container that could be a ladies cuspidor, spittoon or simply a trinket box. Press down on the head of this turtle to open and again to latch it closed. Measures 8 in. ong and is 3.75 in. wide. Some of the brown paint is missing. Please view images carefully. Made of a pot/cast metal, I believe. In good, operating condition. Patent numbers on the bottom are 2815881 and 176107.
