Mettlach stein with pewter lid, incised decorated with a band of musicians. Marked #1471, date code for 1895. Signed "C. Warth" in lower right, who worked for the factory from 1854-1892. Holds 1/2 Liter. Measures 8.75"h overall, 4"d base. Has slight damage to lid: flake from metal band as shown; small chip to ceramic insert near thumblatch. Light staining to rim and lid inside.
