Italian/French "Trumeau" mirror in Piedmontese neo-(classical style, 18th century. This piece is made of gilt-painted wood and plaster and features a pierced cresting centered by a laurel wreath above a white ground reserve centered by an oval cameo depicting "cherubin" figures flanked on either side by a flowering swag. The bevelled glass mirror plate is within reeded borders with ribbon leaf spiral twists.
