A marvelous Trip Around The World pattern quilt from the 1920's. It colors are still bright and vibrant with the exception of the blue and white checked fabric used as the border which has some fading in places at the edges of the quilt. This quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted with a cotton batting. The hand quilting is extremely small with 12 to 14 stitches per inch. It has a muslin backing and the binding is a lavender floral pattern fabric. This is a very bright and colorful quilt with no stains or tears or holes.
