Beautiful sterling silver cheese scoop in the Trianon Pierced pattern by Dominick & Haff.
This item is used for drilling out bits of soft cheese from a large piece brought to the table. Especially Stilton enjoyed with port and nuts at the end of a long dinner.
Marked STERLING with Dominick & Haff maker's mark as shown in photo. Also marked T&E Dickinson, originally sold at this fine jewelry store in Buffalo, New York.
Measures 6 1/2 inches long, scoop is 1 1/4 inches wide.
Very good overall condition. No dings, dents or repairs. Only mild scratching from use.
Pattern introduced 1885.
