Beautifully engraved Certificate from the famous Trans Empire Oils issued in the 1950's. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an oil well and two globes. This item is printed signed by the company's officers and is over 40 years old. TRANS EMPIRE OILS LTD. Had its name changed to West Canadian Oil & Gas Ltd. in 3/10/58. West Canadian Oil & Gas Ltd. merged into Canadian Delhi Oil Ltd. 1/1/62 which recapitalized as CanDel Oil Ltd. 1/10/72 .
