PAINTED LADY from Trail of the Painted Ponies.
Low first edition number of 1E/1833.
Resin Horse measure 6" H. Artist is Barbara Quimby
"Painted Ladies" is a term often applied to resplendent Victorian houses, brightly painted and expertly restored. Armed with this knowledge, New Mexico artist Barbara Quimby cleverly conceived of a Painted Lady Pony, a dolled-up equine celebration of the Victorian spirit as it lives today. This one is made of resin and is hand numbered on the bottom. Painted Lady is numbered 1E/1,833. Retired 12/2006.
I have another Painted Lady in my shop with a higher 1E number & is priced a little cheaper.
The horse is brand new in original Westland box with all the paperwork included. He was never displayed, only taken out of the box to inspect.
Please see my other Trail of Painted Ponies and save on shipping expenses. I always combine orders to save you shipping expenses.
