A very fine Sterling Silver soup ladle made by Towle in the Old English pattern which was introduced in 1892. This lovely serving piece has a gold washed bowl measures approximately 10 3/4" long and has no monogram. Bowl has some light scratches. Back is marked with the Towle hallmark Sterling Pat 1892. Weighs about 4.192 troy ounces A very fine quality and elegant ladle, especially nice for the holidays. (#174)
