This is a great and quite heavy black glass ashtray in the shape of a ship's wheel from the top view giving it a nautical look. The glass is so thick and heavy that light will not show thru at all, even when held up against a light bulb. The underside, each "foot" of the cigarette rests has surface scratches as to be expected from age and rubbing against a table top surface. There are no chips or cracks on this piece and it measures 10" across. This piece is perfect for any decor from Nautical to totally retro or Danish Modern Mod and would also make a great candy dish if not used as an ashtray!
