This is a wonderful old clear glass 1 quart mason jar made by the Atlas Co. Wheeling, W. Virginia. The front of the canning jar is marked Atlas Strong Shoulder Mason. It has pronounced 1/16 inch Lettering. The M in Mason is 1/2" high. This is larger lettering than in the other jars that came with this collection. The bottom has the Hazel Atlas logo and the number 5058. The jar is topped with a porcelain lined zinc lid. The name on the lid is very hard to read. It may read ATLAS. This great old jar measures 7" high and 3 5/8" in diameter. Use it store dry staples to decorate your kitchen or fill the bottom with sand and use it as a candle holder. The round jar is in good vintage used condition. There are no chips or cracks.
