I have up for sale a rather rare find. It is a round signature disk off of an original Tiffany Studios, New York Lamp Base. The signature disk would have been located on the bottom of a oil font. I had an elderly friend who was in the lamp business. He is in his late 80's. When he converted Tiffany Oil Burning lamps he would knock these signature disks off the font to allow for the conversion to electricity. He ran the wire through the hole and out through the bottom of the base. He told me he had several of these but he was only able to locate 1. The signature disk is made of copper and the back side has the color silver which is probably solder as it was sweated onto the base. The signature disk has the impressed "Tiffany Glass Decorating Company Logo" along with the large letter E. It also has the signature "Tiffany Stvdios New York" impressed mark at the bottom. Those of you who have an original Tiffany oil Burning lamp and is missing the signature, now is your chance to have this very important missing part. This is the real deal so purchase with confidence.
