This is a really cute tie tac, although I'm wondering how many men actually wear ties any more!LOL I figured, well, for the man who has everything, or for the Holidays, New Years, someone who breeds poodles? Or even a woman who collects anything poodle related and adds this to a hat or coat! This is a very tiny pin, so, make sure you make note of the measurements! It also makes a fine tie tac for a young man too! The back might not be the one it originally came with, but it fits well, the back is not 14K, it is simply the usual type that men use. The tac itself shown in the photos is solid 14K gold. I could not tell you what kind of stone is in the eye. It is a blue stone. Very pretty, no chips or cracks in it. Nice piece, in all, and a good price for gold right now!
