Three Piece Parlor Set, w. Winged Griffins, circa 1890's to 1910
This is a very lovely parlor set, the wood is primarily birch, but the rounded piece in back of each chair is mahogany. It has undergone a total off frame restoration, wood refinished, frame glued, springs tied, etc. and re-upholstered in tapestry fabric in tones of beige, burgundy and green (fabric sample gladly sent upon request.) Consists of a platform rocker and 2 (armless) side chairs. Winged Griffins adorn rocker arms, side chairs have claw feet. It's a substantial set, user friendly.. yet quite handsome. The rocker measures 26" wide by 28" deep by 38" tall., side chairs measure 21" wide by 21" deep by 38" tall. *Please note price is for all 3 pieces, not sold separately.
