Three door walnut Victorian bookcase

Unavailable
Great small size walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian three door bookcase. The middle section is higher and deeper than the two side sections. The original glasses in the doors are framed by a thick walnut molding that has a carving in the center of the curved top. The entire case is handsomely decorated with raised shaped burled panels, carvings of various kinds, fancy rosettes and round applied balls. Most of the burled panels have incised carvings. There are three adjustable shelves in the middle section and two each on the sides. There are three storage drawers in the bottom. We have two keys that work most of the original locks. Fine quality original double castors are on the base. Most Victorian bookcases are too huge for the modern house. This has many of the more desirable features in a great compact size! Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 62"H x 65"W x 17"D. Finish: Fair original finish with an old dark patina. Price: $4850.00
