Thomas S. Preston was prominent member of the Catholic church in the late 19th century.
Preston served at Trinity Church, the Church of the Annunciation in West Fourteenth Street, and at Holy Innocents, West Point. He went on to be the founder and director of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion and for a time, the Pastor of St. Ann's.
Preston wrote 15 books throughout his lifetime, many concerning Biblical History and the effects of the Protestant Reformation on the Modern Church.
