A 19th century oil painting by the English landscape painter Thomas Creswick 1811-1869. The painting is entitled "Shallow Streams" and was exhibited at the British Institute in 1847.Creswick was born in Sheffield. He painted landscapes mainly in Wales and the North of England. He exhibited widely in his lifetime and was elected an associate member of the Royal Academy in 1842 and a full member in 1851.
