SIGNED full red crushed levant morocco leather binding. xii, 194, [1 printer s imprint], [1 blank]. Hand-colored engraved frontispiece portrait, nine hand-colored engraved plates, and numerous wood-engraved illustrations in the text. Bound ca. 1920 by Bayntun in Bath. Gilt blindstamped signature behind the front cover in the leather. Inlaied design of Baron Munchausen on front board with five gilt line arrow design in the corners of the board. All edges gilt. Ends of boards rolled. Marbled endpaper with inner paneling of leather. The lightes of wear at extrems else excellent condtion. Great gift.
