Book titled The Dunlop Book: The Motorist Guide Counsellor and Friend. 2nd Ed. Compiled by Ed. J. Burrow, Ed R. Cross and A.J. Wilson. Published for the Dunlop Rubber Co. Top of inside blank cover page has a written in name with the date Jan. 1922. Could not find a publishing date so I'm assuming it's from this time frame. There is 7 Sections to the Book: Section I: Concise Guide to British Isles Section 2: Nearly 400 Roadside Sketches of the queer, quaint and picturesque Section 3: Touring Road Maps covering The British Isles, with coloured contours Section 4: Pens of well-informed writers on their several subjects and their short discussions of Our British Cathedrals, Churches, Castles and Country Houses, Architecture, Angling, The Ancient Camps of Britain, The Car and the Camera and Golf Section 5: Hotels Section 6: Key Index Section 7: List of Repairers on Loose Leaf System for Revision. There is a total of 625 pages, although, Section 7 appears to be completely missing. As it says it's suppose to be on a "loose leaf system" but no pages are present. Pages within give detailed description of Golf Course, Hotel locations etc. The Book and pages within remain intact. Cover does have some wear at the top edge of spine and a little at the lower edge. There is splitting to the edges of the flap and the cover flap button doesn't want to snap in place. Despite the above mentioned nice early Book to add to one's collection. Any questions or need additional photos please ask in advance. Buyer to pay shipping.
