Ted Kennedy ran for reelection to the Senate in 1980 with this dark blue and light blue pinback campaign button styled simply "Kennedy."  It was the same campaign where he challenged President Jimmy Carter, the sitting president running for reelection.  Kennedy was reelected to the US Senate, but lost the nomination for president.
