This is a wonderfully decorative ceramic teapot shaped like an English thatched cottage made by Price Kensington potteries, England in the 1950s. The design is called Cottage Ware or Cottageware and is very collectible. The teapot is hand painted and measures 9 inches long by 6 inches high by 4.5 inches wide. The mark is impressed under glaze Made In England P&K and Ye Olde Cottage and there is an ink stamp as well. The teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and just a bit or crazing which is normal with PK cottageware. A very fun and collectible piece.
