To a French solid silver coffee and tea service with tray c.1880. Made in the early Empire manner with decorative bird finials and fine workmanship, including custom wood handles. Note: This set is hallmarked with the French fisrt standard silver which is 950 pure, as sterling silver is 925 pure. This is the finest grade of French silver made for domestic use. The set comprises of teapot w/hinged lid, coffee pot w/hinged lid, sugarbowl w/removable lid, creamer and solid silver tray. All in pristine condition. The creamer and sugar bowl retain their original interior guilding. Tray: 23" length Teapot: 11" height
