A great teapot , creamer and covered sugar bowl by the well known silversmith, Nicholas J Bogert; who worked at 10 Lombard Street in New York City - listed in 1801. The style of the set; has a domed lid with a screwed on finial -- leaves and a stemed flower --typical of the 1820s- and 1830s-- There are paneled bases -- the trim is die rolled and cast stylized anthemion --hollow , leaf capped and "C" scroll handle -Not a good day to take pictures here - but pics to follow - and would send pics to those who are interested in this historic set.
