This is a handmade padded fabric tea cozy or tea cosy made to fit a large 4-6 cup teapot and measures 10 inches high and 14 inches wide with the matching trivet 7.25 inches square. The teapot cover features a burgundy fabric with bouquets of flowers and an almost paisley design, chord hanger and a matching teapot trivet and is lined with unbleached muslin. The tea cozy was handmade in the US during the 1990s and is from the stock of the antique shop we closed to go exclusively online in 2003. I just got to that part of the warehouse! Tea cosies are made to keep the pot warm and this is new and perfect.
