This auction is for a Tay Porcelain Bird Figurine created and designed by the late master artist, Giuseppe Tagliariol (1915-1982) also known as Bepi Tay. He is most widely known for his bird sculptures such as this one...the "Tufted Titmouse". The attention to detail and WONDERFUL hand painted coloring bring this little bird to life before your eyes. Because of Tay's painstaking eye for detail, Tay Porcelain figures are some of the most sought-after collections in the world today. This bird sculpture stands 3 1/4" tall by 2.5" wide by 2.5" deep. This item is free of defects or repairs. This little BEAUTY is marked "Tay" on the base and underneath, along with a sticker which reads "TAY Italy"
