Taxco sterling VINTAGE DRAGON necklace

The dragon in the large pendant has wrapped himself around this old Mexican temple and as you go thru each link, you will see they are individually made with different Indian figures and animals. It seems to tell a story. I can’t even imagine the time it takes to make the silver pieces and then inlay them into this rich material. This is so well designed and constructed, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was made by Los Castillo or Hector Aguilar. The sterling is finely etched and is inlaid into each link and pendant. The pendant is 3 ½" long ( included the bale above it) and the necklace measures 21" around the neck. This striking combination of design as well as figures on this is surely a treat for the serious collector. Very little wear and the only thing that has been changed is the clasp ( which was obviously done a long time ago because it has metal wear). I will be glad to include a newer clasp with this if you like.
