Tall Hand Carved Wooden Figure

I purchased this carved wood figure at a recent estate sale along with another figure & a small wooden mask. Both of the carved figures have their arms bent towards the face with their hand resting on the chin, but, opposite arms. They are very unusual, but, I can't tell much about them. The figure is 16 " tall.
