What a showpiece this one is and dating to 1840 -thats almost 175 years old, and truly in magnificent condition. This one is constructed of white English oak with mahogany and burled mahogany veneered accents and INLAY - probably some of the nicest inlay we have seen.
This is a 30 hour bell clock with removeable bonnet and one continuous pull chain. The single weight runs both the time and strike.
Hand painted and lettered moon phase dial is in excellent shape and shows that the clock was built for the CADE family, North Allerton, Yorkshire, England.
