Italian 19th century Picie pedestal table and cabinet. Hand painted top to resemble marble with decorative floral bouquets around the cylinder surrounded with taupe colored swags. Gilt reeded deep collar connecting the chest to the pedestal base. Other corresponding gilt trim can also be seen. Three drawers for storage with small brass knobs. Minor wear to the background paint and gilt with age as seen in the photos of the base and apron surrounding the top. All is smooth and no flaking. Floral painting and swags themselves in wonderful condition. Measures 32.5H X 16L X 16D. Can be shipped via Federal Express with zip code.
