Early 1900's oval classical Italian large metal bowl or planter has two large handles either end giving an Aladdin lamp look.Raised leaf and swag design on interior and exterior with ribbed 1/2 inch lip and ribbed oval base. bits of verdigris show beneath the exterior bronze colored with black shading. Wonderful classical look and size for display of fruit or flowers,balls or alone atop a stack of books displaying on chest or table. Excellent condition,not quite totally symmetrical as created by hand,does not detract. Measures 17L with handles X 10W X 5.75H.
