Pair of Italian carved antique cream oval frames ,the graining showing through from mid 19th century. Deep tan wooden bead work along the interior which matches the carved acorn,nut and berry raised motif in 4 sections. The pair have wonderful aging,tiny cracks here and there,etc. but nothing that is harmful to the pieces. Stunning hung alone without an interior subject,yet could house a pair of mirrors, photos,needlework,carvings,memorabilia or silhouettes.The rectangular recessed back in the oval indicates possible plaques or carvings once present. Measure 14H X 12L X 1.25D. Can be hung either way.Interior measurement 9.5H X 7.75L.
