This is a very unique cane with the original label that was made in the early 20th century. The Alter-Meter tailor's measuring cane was made in Columbia Missouri and used by tailors to help measure in their shops. This cane features an extending metal ruler and working counter to see the length of the extension. The stick also has a Malacca shaft and a stopper ferrule. This cane measures 38 x 3 1/4 x 1/4, extends to 48 1/2".
