From our New England picker comes this nice American Oak Library Table. Made and sold by the Larkin (Soap) Company of Buffalo, NY this library table was marketed in the 1909-10 Larkin catalog "Given for Five certificates or with $10 worth of Larkin Products and shipped knocked-down to save freight-charges; easily set up". Today, it is offered assembled and the price of this piece is slightly more... The lovely grain of quarter-sawn oak flows over the entire piece. Incised carving decorates the skirt, the legs, and the drawer front. Below the shapely stretcher provides an additional surface area for display/storage. This nice library table has been professionally restored and refinished and is ready for your home. It can be easily knocked down for inexpensive shipping.
