A beautiful 1860's civil war era quilt in the T-Patch pattern. It is hand pieced and hand quilted with 16 to 18 stitches per inch. It has a cotton batting and a muslin backing. There are 5 "T"s that have deteriation of the fabrics and 1 "T" that has a hole torn in it. The worse of the "T"s with deteriation in shown in pictutre #3 and the one with the tear and hole is shown in picture #4. T are a few minor age stains as also shown in picture #3. Each block is 5" square. Dispite the few flaws, it is a wonderful civil war era quilt with an unusual pattern that is very striking.
