This is a cream soup, consomme or bouillion 2 handled soup made by Susie Cooper, Crown Works Staffordshire England 1932-1964. The pattern is called Endon, number 1417, in swirl molded porcelain. The cup is 2 inches high by 4.75 in diameter. The floral design is lovely and pure Susie Cooper who was a master at mid century modern designs. We have 3 of these, 2 with the deer mark and 1 with the signature mark. Both marks are from the Crown Works during the same period and were routinely interchanged even among the pieces of a set. The soup cup is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only a few minor utensil marks. Lovely!
