Beautifully engraved SPECIMEN certificate from the Sunshine - Jr. Stores, Inc. This historic document was printed by the Security-Columbian Banknote Company in 1978 and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the company logo. This item has the printed signatures of the Companys President and Secretary and is over 24 years old.
Certificate Vignette Sunshine-Jr. Stores, Inc., was in the business of operating convenience stores. The company operated 232 stores, located in five states, and these operated under the trade name Jr. Food Stores. Its convenience stores were designed to attract customers on an 18 to 24 hour basis and these self-service stores offer gasoline (except 5) and merchandise. Merchandise accounted for 53% of 1994 revenues and gasoline, 47%.
