A covered vegetable serving dish or casserole made by T&R Boote in Staffordshire England in 1878. The brown transfer pattern is Summertime with a butterfly, fronds and flowers. In excellent condition, with no cracks or crazing or staining. There is a small chip at the bottom of the foot, but it does not show when in use. Remarkably good condition for a stoneware piece of 134 years. 5x 7.5x10
