There is no mistaking the unique quality and elegant design of this exquisite red Boulle antique workbox. This was made Circa 1860 by a master craftsman. The top and sides have been inlaid in an incredibly intricate brass and faux tortoiseshell inlay which must have taken much patience and a long time to accomplish. . A truly painstaking process, with a breathtaking result. It has a drawer for storage, as well as the lid lifting up, so can be used as a lamp table.
