Here are four old paintings which tell the story of Abraham and his intent to sacrifice his son. The story of Abraham is important to Judaism, Islam and Christianity. All colors are strong in these paintings, but the second and third show better than the first two. I apologize for the marks on the glass in #3 photo which I see are fingerprints. The writing you see on each painting is telling the story of the picture in Amharic. Three of the paintings are horizontal and the fourth is vertical. The paintings are on parchment made from sheepskin which has been used for many, many years in Ethiopia. I obtained these paintings in 1966 and they were old then. They have been professionaly framed, ready to hang. All frames measure 11.5 x 14 inches. The Story of Abraham, as it relates to the three monotheistic religions, is documented on the internet as well as religous books. If you care to see better photos, I'll take more.
